Combo Massage: Choosing a Mix of Techniques

A combo appointment brings more than one massage technique into a session. Instead of relying on the name alone, explain which styles you enjoy and how you would like to divide the time.
Make customization concrete
Choose two or three preferences that matter most, such as flowing strokes, focused shoulder work, or the included warmth of stones. Ask how those requests can fit into the session. Trying to fit every service name into one appointment can make it harder to spend time on what you actually enjoy.
You do not need to arrive with a minute-by-minute plan. A short conversation can establish priorities and leave room for adjustments. Ask the therapist to explain the proposed approach so that the word “combo” describes a visit you understand.
Deciding what to combine
A combo session blends massage techniques within one appointment. Start by describing what you enjoy: flowing strokes, more focused pressure, or time divided between particular areas. Ask the therapist what combination is available and how it could fit into the length you are considering.
The word “customized” is most useful when it leads to a concrete conversation. “I like flowing strokes but want some time focused on my shoulders” is a clearer request than asking for every technique on the menu. The therapist can explain the proposed sequence before touch begins.
Think about what you want repeated next time
After the appointment, notice which part of the mixture you would choose again. You might prefer more flowing work, less time in one area, or no stones on a later visit. These observations are useful feedback without turning the session into a promise to fix a particular problem.
If you decide to book again, explain those preferences rather than simply requesting more pressure. You can select another length, a different combination, or a single-style appointment if the experience has made your preferences clearer.
Agreeing on priorities
Decide which part of the visit matters most to you. A session has a finite amount of time, so including many areas or styles can leave less time for each. Ask how the therapist suggests dividing the appointment and whether your preferred plan fits the selected length.
You can revise those preferences during the session. If you want to spend less time in one area or return to a technique you enjoyed, say so. Asking for an adjustment is part of communicating what you want from the experience.
Stones, pressure, and included services
Our combo menu includes complimentary hot stones. Confirm how that portion is incorporated, and explain your temperature preferences as well as your preferred pressure. You can ask for changes in warmth or choose to continue without stones.
If you are considering an additional menu option, ask about its price and timing before agreeing. A technique appearing elsewhere on the website does not automatically make it part of every combo session. Confirm the particular booking rather than relying on a general list of possibilities.
Preparing for a mixed-style visit
Check the appointment length, quoted price, clothing setup, and areas of focus before your visit. The menu lists combo sessions at $65 for 60 minutes and $85–$90 for 90 minutes; confirm the exact option when reserving.
Bring a simple description of what you want rather than an elaborate plan you feel obliged to follow. You might discover that one style appeals to you more than expected. At the end, note the techniques and pressure you would choose again, which gives you a useful starting point for any future booking.
Choose what matters to you
You might prefer flowing strokes followed by more focused pressure, or more time on one area. Ask which combinations are available and agree on a plan before starting.
Keep the plan flexible
Preferences can change during a session. Ask for less pressure, a different technique, or an area to be skipped when needed.
